About This Award

The HR Innovator of the Year award celebrates bold, creative HR professionals who have introduced breakthrough ideas, practices, or strategies that fundamentally redefined HR effectiveness and delivered measurable organizational impact. This award recognizes individuals who challenge conventional thinking, embrace experimentation, and successfully translate innovative concepts into scalable, results-driven solutions that create competitive advantage through reimagining how people, culture, and performance intersect. This award honors HR professionals that excel in: • Innovation and creativity demonstrating originality and ingenuity in new HR initiatives, tools, or methodologies that represent a significant departure from conventional practice • Strategic relevance ensuring the innovation aligns effectively with business priorities, enhances organizational value, and addresses real business needs rather than innovation for its own sake • Execution and change leadership showcasing the ability to implement innovation, engage stakeholders, navigate organizational complexity, and sustain results through effective change management • Results and measurable outcomes with quantifiable impact such as productivity improvements, engagement gains, cost savings, efficiency enhancements, or other documented business improvements • Scalability and influence demonstrating potential for replication across the organization or industry, with broader impact beyond the initial implementation Eligible nominees include HR professionals at any level who have conceived, championed, and successfully implemented an innovative HR solution within the past 24 months that created transformative value. Innovations must demonstrate originality, measurable impact, and sustainability. Entry Requirements: Entries are welcome from internal HR, Talent, Learning, or People departments. Submissions may be made by the innovator or nominated by colleagues or leadership. Entries may be submitted independently or in partnership with technology vendors, consultants, or solution providers. However, partner organizations cannot submit entries without the primary client organization. Initiatives must demonstrate full implementation with quantified results covering at least 6 months post-launch.
